The role of guard is highly rewarding in terms of valuable knowledgeable experience and career growth opportunities within the organization. Guards also explore the opportunity to work independently in a team and work in a dynamic addition our Guards earn competitive pay in the security industry (depending on exp. and other factors).
Job Requirements:
- Valid Alberta Security License (required).
- Strong command of the English language (verbal and written).
- Exceptional customer service skills with prior experience considered a strong asset.
- A professional approach to security demonstrating discipline honesty and ethics.
- Ability to follow procedures and set routines effectively.
- CPR certification is an asset.
- Flexible availability including days and nights.
Duties and responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Conduct foot patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
- Utilize certain online applications and forms to submit patrol reports accurately.
- Ensure that site-specific operational procedures are followed.
- Complete assigned tasks in an efficient and professional manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely incident reporting.
- Communicate regularly with the Operations regarding security updates.
- Exercise good judgment and make critical decisions that benefit customers and property.
- Act as a key member of the security team and contribute to customer success.
Position type: Full-time
Schedule: Day Shift / Night Shift /Weekends
Payrate: $19 - $22
