Job Summary

CNC Programmer/Operator

What Youll Do:

Analyze specifications: Review job orders blueprints and technical drawings to calculate dimensions select tools and determine machine speeds.
Program CNC machines: Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to ensure precision and efficiency.
CNC setup & calibration: Set up CNC equipment calibrate tools and ensure proper machine function before production.
Trial runs & adjustments: Perform trial simulations adjusting programs as needed to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
Safety & cleanliness: Follow all safety standards wear PPE for the duration of the shift while on the manufacturing floor and maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
Cross-departmental support: Assist with other areas of production as needed to ensure smooth operations.

What Youll Bring:

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience programming setup CNC turning.
CAM software: Experience with CAM software preferred.
Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of basic machining practices and mechanical processes.
Mathematics & communication: Solid math skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical details.
Problem-solving & teamwork: Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
Physical requirements: Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Work ethic: Dependable with a commitment to high-quality precise work standards.

Your Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
