Alto Inventory Specialists work cross-functionally across operations inventory g and other supply chain teams to build a better more intuitive community pharmacy from the ground up. Job Description

Accelerate your career as you:

  • Ensure all inventory management is performed daily weekly and monthly but not limited to the following tasks: vendor check-in daily cycle count drug putaway ancillary organization and ordering supplies ordering automation replenishment invoice reconciliation variance investigations recalls expired medication management and any required inventory functions specific per site.

  • Analyze on a daily basis to draw insights on actions that need to be taken to meet inventory health goals and recommend new reports and processes to improve inventory management processes.

  • Support the Pharmacy team front-line needs as needed .

  • Manage purchasing related tasks for your site or region as required to meet our business needs.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision or instruction

  • Experience using MS Excel Google sheets or similar spreads

  • Ability to multitask and know how to prioritize in a constantly changing environment

  • Communicates clearly and effectively with multiple levels of leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years experience as a licensed pharmacy technician.

  • Are eager to measure and improve accuracy and productivity

  • Resourceful and have creative ideas on what needs to change in the industry

  • Enjoy data analysis and are outcome focused

  • Believes in continuous improvement

  • Is passionate about improving the patient experience

  • Can make quick and thoughtful decisions



Additional Information

Additional Physical Job Requirements:

Work at a computer terminal for extended periods move frequently around the pharmacy stoop bend reach for equipment and supplies make frequent repetitive motions to operate a computer and other pharmacy equipment and lift carry push pull and move light objects up to 50 pounds. Effectively communicate through verbal interactions discern auditory information and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $29.45/hr

  • Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in AZ AR CA CO FL KS MD MO NV NJ NY NC OR PA SC TN TX WA and WI.
  • Employment Authorization Requirement: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. At this time Alto is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.
  • This position is based on-site at our New York Pharmacy
  • Benefits:STA (Short-Term Assignment) employees are eligible for legally required benefits including paid sick time workers compensation insurance and unemployment insurance as well as the Companys Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan. This plan focuses on preventive careincluding annual checkups screenings immunizations and prenatal careat no cost when services are provided by an in-network provider.
