Our client is a fast-growing tech-enabled landscape maintenance company with a strong operational culture. They are known for building high-performing teams investing in training and systems and delivering consistent quality across commercial maintenance accounts.
They are looking for a Maintenance Production Manager a hands-on leader who can drive crew performance maintain quality standards in the field and keep jobs on time on budget and safe.
The Opportunity
This is a critical leadership role within the maintenance division.
As the Maintenance Production Manager youll oversee field crew performance scheduling quality control and resource planning. Youll work closely with operations leadership to ensure contracts are serviced at a high standard clients are satisfied and the team is operating efficiently and safely.
Youll also be responsible for developing people: coaching crew leads training team members and helping shape a reliable accountable safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site audits lead tailgate safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.
- Deliver hands-on training on equipment use production standards and safe operating procedures.
- Build and manage weekly/seasonal maintenance schedules that align with contract requirements and client expectations.
- Monitor service quality and proactively address site-level issues before they escalate.
- Oversee labor equipment tools and materials to ensure efficient deployment of resources.
- Track job costing and production performance to ensure work stays within budget targets.
- Coach mentor and develop crew leads and team members; support recruiting and onboarding in partnership with HR/leadership.
- Partner with account management / sales to ensure field delivery matches client expectations.
- Identify enhancement opportunities and follow up to ensure service commitments are met.
- Maintain accurate job records production metrics and performance reporting.
- Participate in operations / production meetings and lead continuous improvement discussions.
Qualifications
- Experience in landscaping field operations or production management (commercial maintenance preferred).
- Strong leadership skills; able to hold teams accountable while building a positive culture.
- Highly organized and steady under pressure; able to manage multiple crews sites and timelines.
- Comfortable using operations software and tracking performance data (platforms like LMN Aspire etc.).
- Strong understanding of job costing labor planning and production efficiency.
- Safety-minded quality-driven and detail-focused.
- Confident communicator with both field teams and management.
