Job Summary

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting Economics Business Administration ACCA or a related field.
3-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in the financial services banking or fintech sector.
Solid understanding of financial processes such as payments accounting investments loans or risk management.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
Excellent communication problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with financial modeling data-driven decision-making or regulatory compliance (e.g. KYC AML) is a plus.
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA Confluence Power BI Tableau or similar platforms.
Knowledge of SQL or experience working with data analytics teams.
Exposure to AI-driven finance solutions blockchain or open banking concepts.
Professional certifications (e.g. CSPO CFA CPA or PMI-ACP) are advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
Translate business and financial requirements into clear product features and user stories.
Define maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer impact.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering design finance compliance and marketing).
Analyze financial data KPIs and customer behavior to inform product decisions.
Ensure all financial products comply with relevant regulations and internal governance policies.
Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the financial domain.
Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to delivery and continuous improvement.
Support development and QA teams during sprints to clarify requirements and validate deliverables.
Communicate product vision progress and results to senior management and stakeholders.
