Marcellin College a leading Catholic boys school is seeking an enthusiastic and faith-driven Youth Minister to join our Faith and Mission Team on a part-time basis commencing Term 1 2026.
Under the direction of the Deputy Principal Faith and Mission the Youth Minister plays a key role in fostering a vibrant faith culture across the College. Through prayer reflection service and social justice initiatives the Youth Minister helps students experience faith in action and deepen their relationship with God.

As a Youth Minister you will help bring this mission to life by:
Supporting the Faith and Mission Team in nurturing a faith-filled College community grounded in Catholic values and Marist spirituality
Encouraging and accompanying students in their faith journey through retreats liturgies reflection days and service opportunities
Assisting with programs such as Game Changers Christian Service and House Social Justice initiatives
Developing and promoting opportunities for students in Years 711 to engage in service and justice activities
Collaborating with staff House Leaders and student leaders to strengthen Catholic and Marist identity
Supporting communications displays and events that celebrate faith and community life
Providing administrative support for faith events reflection programs and retreats
Acting as a mentor and faith role model to student leaders including Faith and Mission Captains
Ensuring compliance with all College Child Safety and Protection Policies
To be successful in this role you will bring:
A commitment to the Catholic ethos and Marist spirituality
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage young people
Strong organisational and event coordination skills
An understanding of liturgy prayer and youth faith formation
A willingness to actively participate in the spiritual and community life of the College
Experience in youth ministry Marist Youth Ministry Game Changers Remar or similar faith-based programs (desirable)
A current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
A commitment to ongoing professional learning and personal faith development
