What Youll Do
- Architect & Build: Design prototype and deploy cutting-edge solutions for complex trading environments.
- Collaborate: Partner with IT and business stakeholders to enhance and maintain mission-critical systems.
- Full Lifecycle Ownership: Lead projects from requirements gathering through design coding testing implementation and production support.
- Drive Innovation: Deliver scalable sustainable solutions for global business needs leveraging the latest technologies.
- DevOps Mindset: Engage in backlog management automated testing release cycles and continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Impact: Work with third-party vendors and contribute to global IT initiatives.
- Experience: 57 years in corporate IT with a strong background in Energy/Commodity Trading and Risk Management (ETRM/CTRM).
- Technical Mastery: Hands-on expertise with OpenLink Endur v11 including JVS and OpenComponents.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database SQL/PL-SQL and Informatica.
- Performance Focus: Advanced SQL tuning and deep knowledge of Endur schema.
- Process Know-How: Experience with Connex Grid Enabled Scripts Operation Services and Trade Process Management (TPM).
- Best Practices: Solid grasp of software design architecture principles and coding standards.
- Modern Tools: Familiarity with Azure DevOps VSTS and GIT.
- Business Acumen: Exposure to Trade Capture Risk Management Scheduling & Operations or Settlements & Accounting within trading systems.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field.
