The Accounts Payable (AP) team falls within the Corporate Accounting team. We are responsible for distributing vendor and supplier payments in almost all areas of the bank. Our team reviews and processes hundreds of invoices and over $1 million dollars of payments daily. We focus on providing our vendors clients and internal customers with accurate and prompt service.

We are currently seeking anAccounting Specialist for Accounts Payableas part of our Enterprise Accounting department. Enterprise Accounting is integrated with the Enterprise Banks and Operations division at Zions you want to step into the accounting profession this is the group for you. As an Accounts Payable Specialist you will play a key role in the accounting cycle. Your attention to detail and contributions will impact people across all departments.

Accounts Payable Specialist will possess these talents:

• Specific attention to detail while reviewing and approving invoices

  • Ensure invoice details are accurate and appropriately assigned to internal customers

  • Provide reports and analysis for related processing and explain discrepancies

• Customer Service for internal and external customers

  • Manage requests from vendors clients and other internal customers

  • Resolve invoice questions and payment requests by phone and email

• Time Management for regular daily weekly & monthly deadlines

  • Daily invoice approval cut offs

  • Urgent payment requests

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 1 years accounting experience preferred

• Experience in an automated/paperless payables environment preferred

• Experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle Accounts Payable is a plus

• Experience with Concur Invoice a plus

• Zions Tech Campus located in Midvale Utah or at Amegy Bank in Houston TX
