Who you are:
Responsible for order contacts and communication with sales customers and internal cross-functional persons. Handle orders to meet the needs of customers. Support improvement projects and activities within the field.
About the job:
- Overall responsible for contract orders quality cost and delivery.
- Review of partly of customer SPEC to identify customer requirements
- Cost analysis and quotation support provide competitive quotation
- Maintance project related documents on time(Promis Orderboardquotation board log book MDB OPTO etc..)
- Communication with sales/customers to clarify the special specification and timely feedback to relevant internal and external personnel on latest and special requirements from customers/sales;
- Tracing the order status and timely reminding relevant personnel to ensure delivery order with good quality on time;
- Preparing and complete documentation procedures instructions invoices etc related to contract orders on time.
- When necessary attend kick off and bid clarification meetings to start with in China and later also in other parts of Asia
- Work according to SOP extra handling routine and contrat order handling process and rules.
- SOP and extra procedure edit and review.
- Managing contacts with international suppliers
- Managing contractor orders and tasks effectively..
- Participate and support various development works
- Be active in problem resolution
- Always consider waste elimination
- Engaged in applying the priorities (Safety Quality Delivery Cost) and immediately call for TL/TM/UM in case of problems/risks
- Work actively with the ALPS tools;(5S PRPSB/IM meeting etc..)
- Responsibility to develop and inform self
Other tasks assigned by dept. Manager
What you know:
- Engineering education background at university level or equal is a must;
- Specialty of mechanical engineering or similar educational background is a plus;
- Good English both in oral and written CET-4 at least
- At least 2 years marketing/customer service experience in foreign enterprises is a must;
- Experience from improvement tools e g Lean Six Sigma Kaizen is a plus
