About You

You should ideally be an empathetic person who has:

  • A positive and friendly personality with a passion for assisting our Residents to maintain their quality of life.
  • The ability to engage with team members other professionals and a wide range of people with both a high level of verbal and written communication.
  • The capacity to inspire trust and enjoys interacting with the elderly.
  • A focus on delivering excellent customer service to Residents their families and other external parties.
  • Flexibility and can be available on short notice for varied shifts across all days the week.

The role will be centred around providing a high-quality lifestyle for Residents that aligns with individual Resident choices and best practice. You will be making a real impact on Residents lives by providing respectful and safe assistance with:

  • Daily and meaningful activities.
  • Medication administration.
  • Mealtimes in line with Aegis Excellence in Dining strategy.

You will need to have:

  • A certificate III in Aged Care (or higher/equivalent).
  • Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
  • Flexible availability
  • Preferably someone living North of the river.
  • Able to pick shifts given an hour or two notice.
  • Should have your own car and driving license.
