About You
You should ideally be an empathetic person who has:
- A positive and friendly personality with a passion for assisting our Residents to maintain their quality of life.
- The ability to engage with team members other professionals and a wide range of people with both a high level of verbal and written communication.
- The capacity to inspire trust and enjoys interacting with the elderly.
- A focus on delivering excellent customer service to Residents their families and other external parties.
- Flexibility and can be available on short notice for varied shifts across all days the week.
The role will be centred around providing a high-quality lifestyle for Residents that aligns with individual Resident choices and best practice. You will be making a real impact on Residents lives by providing respectful and safe assistance with:
- Daily and meaningful activities.
- Medication administration.
- Mealtimes in line with Aegis Excellence in Dining strategy.
You will need to have:
- A certificate III in Aged Care (or higher/equivalent).
- Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
- Flexible availability
- Preferably someone living North of the river.
- Able to pick shifts given an hour or two notice.
- Should have your own car and driving license.
