Job Duties

Provide supervision and direction to all farm staff and schedule work activities. To ensure row crop livestock and all other farm related operational needs are met.

Minimum Qualifications

This location is part of the Virginia Model. Travel to participating facilities is required. Considerable knowledge of greenhouse production aquaponics horticulture hydroponics vegetable production and bee keeping. Experience with produce handling and safety training. Must demonstrate the ability to train inmates assigned to agricultural work sites. Working knowledge of garden and greenhouse operations. Drivers Application Permit or the ability to obtain within 12 months of employment.

Additional Considerations

Pesticide license. High School diploma or equivalent.
