The Opportunity Te Kōwhiringa
As a Renewals Engineer youll be responsible for preparing renewal quality plans managing the rehab quality assurance process and compiling completion reports. Youll monitor project progress and costs support small engineering works (such as signs guardrails culverts and retaining structures) and ensure our work meets the highest standards of safety quality and environmental compliance.
This role will give you the chance to develop your technical and project management skills in a supportive environment while helping to deliver outstanding results for our clients.
What youll be doing:
Prepare Renewal Quality Plans and completion reports for client approval
Support construction crews with work packs and quality assurance processes
Monitor project progress costs and safety compliance
Scope estimate and manage small engineering works
Champion Zero Harm practices and promote a strong safety culture
Important Skills Nga Pūkenga Matua
Diploma in Civil Engineering (or similar qualification)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
A team-focused attitude with a drive to get the job done
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. Benchmark) is an advantage
