Job Summary
Responsibilities
Peratons Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our diverse team at our Herndon VA office. The candidate will be responsible for deploying and maintaining systems running in the OpenShift variant of Kubernetes troubleshooting networking and performance issues within and between systems and serving as a privileged user to serve as the hands-on engineer in environments requiring a privileged user. This position will primarily be performed in the Herndon SCIF and should be considered an on-site position.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Masters degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR PhD with 0 years; an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement
- Experience managing Kubernetes (Red Hat OpenShift or another variant)
- Knowledge of administering PKI secured networks
- Significant experience administering Linux or other UNIX-based systems
- Experience deploying container-based systems
- Proficient in creating and maintaining shell scripts to include bash and Python
- NiFi experience
- Security or equivalent cert
- Willingness to serve as a privileged user (PUA)
- TS/SCI with current poly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience administering AWS cloud systems
- Working with Jenkins
- Experience with Postgres
- Requirements management
- Maintaining systems documentation
- Familiarity with the DoD Risk Management Framework and systems assessment and accreditation process
