Job Summary:

The Tax Planning and International Manager will be responsible for driving tax planning initiatives supporting cross-border M&A transactions and advising on the companys global tax structure. Reporting to the Director International Tax this role will play a critical part in shaping the companys international tax strategy managing complex transactions and ensuring compliance with evolving global tax regulations. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated tax professional with deep technical expertise excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate across global teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support tax planning analysis structuring and implementation of M&A legal entity simplification transfer pricing and various strategic transactions

  • Assist with development and implementation of tax-efficient strategies for global operations

  • Perform research of complex tax issues and related documentation of conclusions/positions

  • Weekly participation in cross functional team leading M&A and integration efforts

  • Arrange and coordinate tax due diligence findings with deal team

  • Support M&A structuring and analysis

  • Responsible for tax accounting and reporting related to purchase price allocation opening balance sheet and related deferred tax accounting

  • Collaborate with treasury and legal departments on repartriation and cash movement planning and related US / local tax matters

  • Quarterly coordination with local country finance teams regarding TP and related intercompany charges

  • Annual coordination with external advisors on TP documentation support and related calculations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external advisors auditors and tax authorities.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior tax team members fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.

  • Supervise and mentor the team fostering a culture of accountability service excellence and continuous learning

  • Identify skill gaps and provide ongoing training and development to ensure team readiness and performance

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Pillar 2 Minimum tax and related OECD GLOBE concepts

  • Knowledge and working understanding of Tax accounting methods/ Deferred tax impacts

  • Strong knowledge of ASC740 (income tax accounting) and related impacts on international tax matters E&P M&A structuring and related matters.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving and research driven-ability to translate complex tax issues into practical solutions.

  • Excellent time and project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders under tight deadlines.

  • Collaborative and proactive mindset comfortable working in a fast-paced high-growth fintech environment.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Self-motivated and driven.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to multitask prioritize work independently and use discretion surrounding sensitive information.

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.

  • Ability to lead and develop team and influence others

Education and Experience:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in accounting finance economics or law. Advanced degree preferred.

  • 10-12 years of progressive experience in international tax M&A tax accounting and special projects. Big 4/public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax experience strongly preferred.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. international tax rules (Subpart F GILTI FDII BEAT FTCs) previous M&A tax diligence and/or structuring as well as cross-border tax planning.

  • Experience with cross border transactions/concepts PE Treaty analysis/Withholding Taxes

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $130000 - $180000. This range reflects Acrisures good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to skills experience qualifications location and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration team leadership and cross-functional partnership.
