We are seeking a Lab Manager to work onsite in Richardson Texas. This position requires an active US Secret security clearance.

What You Will Do:

The Lab Manager supports customer mission objectives through the development and implementation of lab area plans and procedures. You will provide leadership to establish and implement lab area plans in conjunction with internal and external customers and service providers. You will manage day-to-day site lab area operations. You will mentor staff in lab skills and best practices. You will uphold and enforce lab procedures for compliance with RTX and contractual requirements. You will ensure lab availability and configuration for system test events.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Uphold RTX compliance for the lab including property management logistics and lab rules.

• Perform lifecycle program support functions for theProduct Line

• Enforce lab procedures check that they are being followed and hold individuals accountable if they are not.

• Take care of lab-related tasks i.e. power requirements network racks cables labeling etc.

• Testing of Hardware and Software forconnectivityand usability as required.

• Oversee and manage new hardware for lab environment.

• Ensure compliance of hardware inventory in contract database and/or Collins inventory for Asset Management.

• Installation and Configuration of Hardware in lab environment.

• Coordinating shipping of Hardware to the end customer to meet mission timelines.

• Space expansion planning in lab and storge environments.

• Support for development and test teams utilizing equipment in the lab.

• Creating maintaining and improving lab processes.

• Establish customer lab requirements for program product line features.

• Tasking and planning for program efforts.

• Coordinate visit requests and access to the lab environment.

• Coordinate with COMSEC point of contacts to ensure compliance and proper hand off security artifacts.

• Must have the ability to travel once per quarter one week in duration.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to support activities in support of multiple teams.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience.

• Must have experience working in and managing a secure lab environment.

• Must have experience planning lab space and environment usage.

• Experience working in and performance best practices in a DoD Lab Environment.

• Must have an understanding of asset management.

• Must have an understanding of test execution.

• Experience working with JIRA & Confluence.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizensare eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Security Certification

• Understanding of complex network solutions.

• Experience with rack elevation drawings.

• Understanding of Networking fundamentals and Network deployments.

• Experience leading or working with cross functional teams.

• Experience with Requirements derivation and testing.

• Experience working in PowerBI.

• Proficient in MS Office software (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).

• Ability to work well both independently and within an integrated product development (IPD)team environment.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Experience working with Safety and ESD compliance

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
