Job Summary
Qualifications:Education/Certification: GED or High School Diploma (preferred) Valid Texas drivers licenseSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Ability to understand detailed written or oral instructionsAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to operate power-driven equipmentExperience:NoneMajor Responsibilities and Duties:Grounds and and detail all district grounds including athletic scheduled maintenance plan to care for lawns trees shrubs and flowers by watering pruning fertilizing mulching caring for beds and controlling shrubs and with the preparation of athletic fields for games including chalking and dispose of leaves dirt rubbish and refuse from district at sporting events with various tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures. Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and unsafe conditions in work area and promptly report any conditions that are not immediately correctable to keep vehicle equipment and tools in safe operating and adjust tools and equipment for safety and efficiency and perform preventive maintenance as workers and equipment to work sites throughout the other duties as assigned.
