Our Mission at Rome Health is to provide quality healthcare with compassion. Rome Health serves a population of approximately 80000 in the Rome NY area and its surrounding communities. We are a comprehensive health care system with 130 acute care beds an 80-bed skilled nursing facility four primary care clinics and specialty practices including orthopedics obstetrics & gynecology general and bariatric surgery urology pulmonology neurology and wound care and a broad array of outpatient services.
Through a strategic affiliation with St. Josephs Health in Syracuse Rome Health is in the unique position to collaborate with regional and national health system resources at the same time as retaining the flexibility and agility of an independent community health system.
Rome Health has enjoyed a unique position of growth and stability over the past few years and is currently engaged in projects to expand surgical services and operating suites enhance obstetrical services update inpatient units and expand access to primary care services. Our award-winning long-term care obstetrical and emergency services have been recognized regionally and nationally with a CMS five-star rating for our Residential Health Care Facility Newsweeks Best Maternity Hospitals recognition of our obstetrical services and American Heart Association Gold Plus award for our emergency department.
