About the Role:
Our global client is seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with a strong background in aviation Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations. This position is ideal for a professional who combines deep domain expertise in aircraft maintenance with hands-on experience in SAP modules such as SD (Sales & Distribution) MM (Materials Management) and Service Delivery. Experience within defense or military aviation environments will be considered a strong advantage. You will play a key role in driving SAPMRO system implementation and optimization initiatives collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technology with aviation operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support SAPMRO implementation and optimization projects across aviation maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to map operational processes and translate them into effective SAPMRO solutions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with aviation and defense standards.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for aircraft maintenance planning execution and lifecycle management.
- Conduct blueprint workshops prepare documentation and support solution design activities.
- Provide remote support with occasional on-site visits for workshops assessments or implementation support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the aviation industry with a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft MRO planning execution and management processes.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP SD MM and Service Delivery modules.
- Strong understanding of aviation-specific MRO systems and SAP integration points.
- Excellent communication documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage client relationships in a remote environment.
- Experience in defense or military aviation projects is highly advantageous
- 5 years with Service Delivery
- 5 years with SAP Materials Management (MM)
- 5 years with SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)
