We are recruiting on behalf of our client a well-established company specialising in the retail wholesale and servicing of refrigeration air conditioning and catering equipment across Northern Ireland. The Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Catering Engineer to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the service maintenance installation and commissioning of catering equipment with particular expertise in combi-ovens and gas appliances. Experience with small refrigeration systems would be advantageous though full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing maintenance and installation of commercial catering equipment.
Diagnose and repair faults effectively to minimise downtime for clients.
Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality technical service.
Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth job completion.

Essential Criteria

Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
Proven problem-solving ability to identify root causes of faults.
Competence in reading and interpreting technical data and documentation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information and respond to queries confidently.

Desirable

Experience with small refrigeration equipment (training available if required).
Relevant industry certifications or gas qualifications.
