About the job

Advantra is partnering with a global financial services enterprise in Phoenix and New York to hire a Java Fullstack Developer to build and enhance architecture and design tools that improve engineering quality and usability across enterprise systems.

About the role

You will develop fullstack applications supporting an internal Architecture-as-Design (AaD) framework. The role involves designing UI/UX interfaces developing API and backend services and integrating AI/ML models to assess and improve architecture documentation quality across teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain fullstack web applications using Java Spring Boot and React.
Build scalable backend APIs and microservices to support enterprise design tools.
Implement AI/ML models to evaluate and grade architecture documentation quality.
Design and optimize user interfaces for authoring and reviewing architecture templates.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to align tools with enterprise standards.
Ensure high-quality code through CI/CD pipelines testing and peer reviews.
Manage deployments across cloud environments including AWS GCP or Azure.
Integrate and maintain database systems using PostgreSQL.
Support application performance scalability and reliability initiatives.

Core requirements

6 years of fullstack software development experience.
Strong hands-on coding skills in Java Spring Boot and Hibernate.
Frontend experience with React JavaScript and TypeScript.
Working knowledge of Python for scripting and AI/ML integration.
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure.
Experience using Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
Strong knowledge of Git-based version control systems (GitHub GitLab Bitbucket).
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.

Nice to have

Experience implementing AI-driven evaluation systems or rule engines.
Familiarity with architecture or documentation management platforms.
Understanding of enterprise architecture standards and frameworks.
Experience with RESTful and GraphQL API design.
Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring and logging tools.
