What were looking for:

5 years of professional experience in data engineering or data integration roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL SQL Server Oracle or similar).
Hands-on experience with data pipelines ETL/ELT design and data transformation frameworks (e.g. Apache Airflow dbt or similar).
Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure Data Factory AWS Glue GCP Dataflow etc.).
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts dimensional modeling and data lake architectures.
Proficiency in Python or Scala for data processing and automation.
Familiarity with big data ecosystems (Spark Hadoop Databricks) is a strong plus.
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data deployment.
Knowledge of data quality monitoring and governance best practices.
Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
