Job Summary

About the Role

Ontario Health is advancing its refreshed Digital Health and Data Strategy - a clinically led initiative focused on improving how frontline providers work and helping restore joy to clinical practice. To support this were seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep experience in Digital Health Standards (FHIR SNOMEDand LOINC). to collaborate on the delivery of key standards components within the Digital Health Standards (DHS) Program Workplan.

Key Responsibilities

Lead business process analysis to evaluate and optimize workflows supporting strategic and operational objectives.

  • Conduct partner and stakeholder engagement to gather requirements promote interoperability and support solution adoption.

  • Develop and maintain documentation artifacts such as charters workflows process maps use cases and training materials.

  • Facilitate and support committees and working groups by coordinating meetings agendas and decision tracking.

  • Prepare reports presentations and briefing materials to support planning governance and decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align standards initiatives with Ontario Healths broader portfolio goals.

  • Analyze and resolve issues related to data quality governance and accessibility across standards initiatives.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Health Information or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business process analysis solution adoption and change management.

  • Proven expertise in data analysis business intelligence and process mapping.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards and terminologies (HL7 FHIR SNOMED CT LOINC ).

  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication analytical thinking and partner engagement skills.

Desired Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and related cloud tools.

  • In-depth knowledge of Ontarios healthcare landscape and health information systems.

  • Strong grasp of the Digital Health Standards lifecycle and interoperability frameworks across jurisdictions.

  • Ability to identify and mitigate implementation and adoption challenges proactively.

  • Collaborative mindset with a consistent record of meeting deadlines and delivering quality results.

  • Location: Hybrid (up to 3 days onsite in Ontario; subject to change)
