- Review interpret and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure the correct preparation packaging and labeling of medications.
- Verify dosages and check for drug interactions allergies and contraindications
- Provide counseling and education to patients on the proper use of medications possible side effects and storage instructions.
- Support patients in medication adherence and lifestyle modifications.
- Address patient inquiries regarding over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription medications.
- Manage and maintain adequate inventory levels of pharmaceuticals.
- Conduct regular audits of stock to ensure proper storage conditions and prevent shortages or expiries.
- Maintain accurate records of controlled substances per regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with legal ethical and professional standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy laws drug information and advancements in pharmacotherapy.
- Support internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
