Job Description:

Review interpret and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
Ensure the correct preparation packaging and labeling of medications.
Verify dosages and check for drug interactions allergies and contraindications
Provide counseling and education to patients on the proper use of medications possible side effects and storage instructions.
Support patients in medication adherence and lifestyle modifications.
Address patient inquiries regarding over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription medications.
Manage and maintain adequate inventory levels of pharmaceuticals.
Conduct regular audits of stock to ensure proper storage conditions and prevent shortages or expiries.
Maintain accurate records of controlled substances per regulatory requirements.
Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with legal ethical and professional standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy laws drug information and advancements in pharmacotherapy.
Support internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
