Job Description:
Were supporting an automotive client in the Bay Area on a long-term SAP S/4HANA engagement. Were looking for a senior profile who can act as the functional owner for Service Management and Warranty. This is focused on post-sale / after-sales processes: service notifications service orders field service execution warranty entitlement claims/recovery and how all of that tie into SD/MM/FI/CO for cost and billing.
Key points on the role:
- This is not generic SAP SD/MM support. We need someone who understands how service and warranty work after the product is sold.
- The person will sit between the client stakeholders and the SI. They will review proposed design push back where needed and make sure the service/warranty process will actually work operationally.
- Typical flow they should be able to explain: customer reports an issue service order gets created and dispatched technician time and parts are captured entitlement / warranty / contract rules decide who pays billing/claim is generated and posted correctly.
- Must have background in SAP S/4HANA Service with real exposure to:
- Warranty entitlement and claim handling
- Service contracts and service orders
- Installed base / equipment master / serial tracking
- Integration to SD (billing) MM (spares) FI/CO (cost and recovery)
