The Job:
Two positions available at a recently modernised 1800-sow breeding unit in Staffordshire. The role focuses on daily care of sows and piglets assisting with farrowing and maintaining the highest standards of welfare hygiene and biosecurity.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience working with pigs (farrowing experience desirable)
• Strong understanding of pig husbandry and commitment to animal welfare
• Reliable hardworking and able to maintain high standards
• Good team player with excellent communication skills
• Willingness to work on a weekend rota
• Experience in modern indoor pig production systems
• Knowledge of biosecurity and health & safety practices
• Flexibility and willingness to develop skills through training
