Position Summary
The Medical Assistant (MA) plays a critical role in ensuring smooth clinic operations high-quality clinical care and exceptional member experiences. This role requires clinical skill administrative precision and a relational mindset that reflects Cleints culture.
Core Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Greet prepare and room members with professionalism and warmth.
- Perform vitals phlebotomy immunizations EKGs and point-of-care testing.
- Assist providers with exams and procedures including preventive health and EHE visits.
- Ensure safe specimen handling and lab processing.
- Administrative & Operational Duties
- Manage member scheduling check-in/out referrals and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Elation and compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Support clinic flow by performing opening/closing duties supply ordering and vaccine inventory.
- Manage cash log petty cash reporting and invoice processing in Hint.
- Member Engagement & Communication
- Place onboarding calls to new members within 24 48 hours of signup.
- Conduct quarterly outreach for members not recently seen or contacted.
- Answer phones with professionalism using Cleint scripts and positive language.
- Encourage member feedback and Google reviews to support growth.
- Team Collaboration & Coverage
- Provide cross-coverage support at other Client clinics as needed.
- Demonstrate accountability in our 1:1 staffing model by planning ahead for time off.
- Communicate proactively with providers operations leadership and team members.
Requirements
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA RMA or equivalent).
- Phlebotomy and vaccine administration experience required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a member-first mindset.
- Comfort with technology: EMR (Elation) telehealth platforms GRITS Hint Dialpad.
- Commitment to Clients Agape culture-serving with selflessness empathy and excellence.
Gainesville Requirements:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Prior MA experience
- Confident in phlebotomy (our MAs draw blood on site)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding patient care and customer service
- Technology-friendly and adaptable
Flat Shoals Requirements:
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
- Prior MA experience especially with small procedures
- Confident in phlebotomy (on-site blood draws)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding patient care and customer service
- Technology-friendly and adaptable
