Position Summary:
The Registered Pharmacist under the direction of the Director/Assistant Director/Manager of Pharmacy Services provides indirect patient care and ensures the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services. The role involves close collaboration with nurses physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include reviewing medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness maintaining compliance with hospital and pharmacy standards and demonstrating leadership accountability and commitment to patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
- Current Delaware State Pharmacist License required.
- Successful completion of Hospital and Departmental Orientation Program as per policy.
