Summary
The role involves providing shipping receiving storage and order fulfillment services for finished goods inventory materials supplies parts and equipment at the assigned facility. The position requires accuracy consistency and adherence to standard procedures to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of products to customers.
Responsibilities
- Pick pack sort arrange count store and process items for storage or shipment per established procedures and customer requirements.
- Receive and verify materials and/or finished goods daily ensuring correct type quantity and documentation.
- Operate distribution equipment safely as required.
- Maintain product quality and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Work efficiently under varying temperature environments room temperature cold-room and freezer-room.
- Communicate effectively with internal personnel and demonstrate strong customer service skills.
- Maintain punctuality reliability and adherence to attendance standards.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience (0 2 years) in logistics or warehouse operations preferably in a life sciences company.
- Understanding of handling packaged hazardous materials.
- Basic knowledge of shipping receiving and inventory control procedures.
- Ability to recognize and correct deviations from standard practices.
- Competence in operating powered industrial trucks and handling materials at various heights.
- Basic computer skills familiarity with ERP systems Outlook and shipping software.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs continuously and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts hours and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work under moderate to high noise levels and in physically demanding environments.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance procedures in warehouse operations.
