Our client is looking for an electrical lead engineer to manage a team of electrical/mechatronic design engineers whilst assisting with product design. Electrical/Mechatronic Engineer with more than 10 Years experience. Must have a passion to stay involved in the design field.

LEAD ELECTRICAL/MECHATRONIC DESIGN ENGINEER

Centurion

SA division is the design hub for Product Development. Will be developing/designing commercial products and sub-systems. Designs from first principles and improvements to existing products. End-to-end engineering services for commercial vehicle engineering and development to service support.

The objective is to lead and enhance the electrical design capabilities ensuring high-quality engineering outputs effective project management and exceptional customer satisfaction

Requirements:

or BSc or BTech degree in either Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in design preferably wiring design and controller integration in the automotive electrical design environment.

Responsibilities:

Direct and guide design engineers on technical-related issues.
Engineering Project Management.
Electrical Wiring Design (2D 3D Schematics) and Integration of Control Modules
Design reviews and integration
CAD design and Product Data Management (3D modelling and creation of 2D drawings)
Product support and project execution
