Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence (BI) Data Modeller / Developer to design build and support enterprise-level Microsoft BI solutions. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking technical expertise and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.

As a BI specialist youll play a key role in shaping and optimizing our data landscapedriving data integrity accessibility and business value. You will work across the full BI lifecycle: from requirements gathering and data modeling to implementation testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to identify and define data and reporting requirements.
Perform data analysis profiling and dimensional modeling (Kimball methodology).
Design and implement ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics.
Build optimize and maintain SSAS Tabular Models and Power BI datasets.
Develop compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI applying data storytelling principles.
Produce technical documentation including functional specifications and source-to-target mappings.
Participate in unit testing QA and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality and accuracy.
Collaborate closely with developers architects and analysts in an Agile environment to deliver scalable BI solutions.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

You should have strong proficiency across the Microsoft BI Azure Stack including:

Azure Data Factory Synapse Analytics Data Lake Gen2
SQL Server T-SQL PL/SQL DAX M
Power BI Power Pivot SSAS (Tabular)
Data Warehouse design and Dimensional Modeling (Kimball)
ETL Development and Data Integration
Exposure to Python R or Hadoop is an advantage

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years experience in Business Intelligence development and data modeling.
Minimum 5 years in database design and SQL Server development.
Proven track record in end-to-end BI solution delivery.
Microsoft Data Management & Analytics BI Certification highly advantageous.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
