Accounts Semi Senior
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Semi Senior to join our dynamic accounting team. As a key member of the team you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial support to our clients ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and contributing to the growth and development of our accounting practice. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements
- Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements identifying areas for improvement and implementing recommendations
- Provide financial planning and advisory services to clients including budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including ledgers journals and other accounting records
- Prepare and submit tax returns including corporation tax income tax and VAT returns
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients providing exceptional customer service and support
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives and goals
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards tax laws and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Working towards ACCA or ACA qualification.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in accounting preferably in a general practice environment
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles including financial reporting and taxation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Proficient in accounting software including Sage or similar packages
Personal Qualities:
- Motivated and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the growth and development of the business
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges
