Adelphi is seeking ARRT certified CT Technologists to provide services at a facility in Iowa City Iowa. The ideal candidates will provide technical support in the operation of computerized tomography (CT) equipment. This position requires proficiency in CT scanning and radiographic techniques with a focus on providing excellent patient care and ensuring that all CT procedures are performed in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Clinical Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-5:30pm (CT Techs will work 8 hour shifts shift start times range between 7am and 9am)
Call Schedule: Evenings weekends and holidays. Call will be shared among all CT Techs. On-call CT Techs must be available by phone within 15 minutes of initial contact attempt and onsite within 60 minutes of completed notification.
Rate: $45
Requirements:
ARRT(CT) Certification (American Registry of Radiologist Technologists)
BLS Certification
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
At least 1 year of relevant CT experience.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging procedures in compliance with established standards and protocols.
Provide patient-centered care following Joint Commission (TJC) and American Hospital Association (AHA) standards.
Accurately document all care exams complications and outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Ensure compliance with HIPAA Privacy Act and all facility directives regarding patient information.
Maintain and monitor image quality safety and radiation control practices.
Follow infection control standards and patient safety reporting protocols.
Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) processes and peer review.
Provide quality imaging services in compliance with facility protocols and federal standards.
Attend staff meetings as required by the facility or Chief of Service.
Complete all QA/QI and patient safety documentation.
Report any incidents or patient safety events within 24 hours in the facilitys Patient Safety Reporting System.
Any other duties assigned.
