Position Overview

We are seeking a motivatedAvionics Technicianto join a growing aerospace team north of Tulsa. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge in avionics electrical or electronics engineering who want to build their career in aviation. Working under senior technicians theAvionics Technicianwill gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting critical aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation testing and repair ofavionics systems(navigation communication flight controls etc.).

  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronic components usingdiagnostic tools.

  • Inspect wiring harnesses and avionics hardware to verifyFAA/EASA compliance.

  • Maintain accurate logs reports and inventory records.

  • Support preventive maintenance and general service tasks.

  • Participate in on-the-job training to expand skills.

  • Follow allsafety and quality assurance protocols.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or certification inAvionics Technology Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering(Bachelors preferred).

  • 02 years of experience (internships apprenticeships or entry-level roles welcome).

  • Ability to readschematics blueprints and technical manuals.

  • Familiarity with wiring and basic circuit analysis.

  • Skilled with multimeters oscilloscopes or related diagnostic tools.

  • Strongattention to detail problem-solving ability and teamwork skills.

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. work in confined spaces and perform tasks at heights.

  • Flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to avionics platforms or accessories.

  • Introductory knowledge ofRF technologies or digital electronics.

  • Certification in soldering or wiring.

  • Strong communication skills.
