Role Overview
As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) at you will work directly with our customers to understand their business challenges and implement cutting-edge Agentic solutions. You will design and implement VoiceAI agents WhatsApp agents and other Gen AI solutions that drive real business value. Taking end-to-end ownership of bringing client engagements to success. This role offers an excellent opportunity for developers early in their careers to gain experience in both technical implementation and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- As a member of the broader go-to-market team the key goal is to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Own and drive verticalized solutions using generative AI agents building upon and contributing to Sarvams platform.
- Building and implementing custom LLM applications using APIs and technologies
- Learn and apply prompt engineering techniques for different use cases
- Create documentation for implementations and use cases
- Work with the product team to relay customer feedback
- Support pre-sales activities with technical demonstrations
- Learn to optimize solution performance and cost efficiency
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Enthusiasm for LLMs and AI technologies
- Familiarity with prompt engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High agility and quick to deliver results
- Good communication skills and eagerness to work with customers
- Understanding of vector databases and semantic search
- Previous customer-facing experience (including internships)
- 1-2 years of software development experience
- Understanding of REST APIs and web services
