Why Your Role Matters:

For the first time ever UNSW Finance is launching its Graduate Program and were looking for three talented UNSW graduates to join us on this exciting new journey.

This is a unique opportunity to kickstart your finance career at one of Australias leading universities and play a key role in supporting the financial excellence that drives innovation research and education across UNSW.

Over 18 months youll gain hands-on experience across a variety of finance functions supported by a network of mentors leaders and peers who will help you grow your professional skills and confidence. The program is designed to give you a strong foundation in financial management and equip you with the tools to build a long-term career in finance.

Youll rotate across key UNSW Finance teams including:

  • Finance Business Partnering
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Operational Finance
  • Financial Control and Compliance

Throughout your rotations youll gain valuable experience in budgeting forecasting reporting data analysis and process improvement while contributing to real projects that make a difference to the way UNSW manages its resources and achieves its goals.

Who Were Looking For:

Were seeking passionate motivated and curious individuals ready to learn and grow.

To be eligible you must:

  • Have graduated from UNSW within the past three years
  • Hold a degree in a relevant discipline - finance accounting or a related field is highly desirable
  • Be ready to take initiative work collaboratively and bring a positive solutions-focused attitude

Youll also bring:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • High attention to detail and confidence with data
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial systems
