Description

The Program Coordinator duties are organizing coordinating and planning operational facets of a program and its related activities which include but are not limited to the following: establishing long-term operational objectives researching factors that may impact the success of the program and working with individuals or groups to research and document program requirements in order to provide appropriate input into the development of strategic plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops work plans to accomplish program goals and objectives and monitors progress toward their achievement.
  • Conducts research and gathers information to develop various publications.
  • Develops promotional materials which may include content for reports briefings newsletters grants or other written information related to the program.
  • Assists in developing and coordinating program-related conferences conventions or meetings.
  • Monitors expenditures and may participate in the budget planning process and prepare financial reports.
  • May assist in identifying funding resources and developing fund-raising strategies and initiatives.
  • Prepares operational and statistical reports.
  • Conducts training represents the program at meetings and conferences and networks with affiliated groups. May supervise assigned project staff interns and/or volunteers.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in a field related to the program.
  • Two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

  • Oversees CSI PhD program; oversees student recruitment admissions and orientation
  • Advises students on degree requirements; administers student registration; tracks student progress
  • Interprets policies and procedures; serves as point of contact for faculty and students concerning practical implementation of educational policy and procedures
  • Investigates student concerns and recommends appropriate course of action.
  • Manages large and complex PhD program; evaluate program data compile data write reports to support efforts such as program development and accreditation prepare publications.
  • Maintains expert level knowledge of policies and procedures regarding graduate program communicates news and deadlines and maintains graduate website and event calendar.
  • Significant financial tasks including but not limited to student reimbursements pay source management requiring coordination with grants administration graduate metrics and student progress.
  • Monitors and reconciles program budget; approves expenditures.
  • May hire train and supervise student assistants and monitor time and attendance.
  • Manages events and builds student engagement.
  • Assists in course schedules and enrollment manages course evaluations and archives classes.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.
  • The ideal candidate should demonstrate a high level of organization exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an ability to focus prioritize and work independently.
