Join our Data Science team for a summer internship focused on building real-world machine learning solutions. Youll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies while contributing to projects involving language models experimentation and decision intelligence systems.
This is an ideal opportunity for students passionate about AI/ML to explore applied data science in a fast-moving team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in prototyping and evaluating machine learning models especially in NLP and large language models (LLMs)
- Support experiments and simulations for autonomous decision-making systems
- Prepare and analyze datasets for modeling and testing
- Help validate model performance through internal proof-of-concepts (POCs)
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers and contribute to code documentation and presentations
Education and Experience:
- Working toward a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science or related study.
- Anticipated graduation date within one year of internship
- Minimum Overall and Major GPA of 2.8
- Strong Python programming skills; familiarity with tools like pandas NumPy matplotlib
- Interest in natural language processing experimentation or decision systems
- Ability to learn quickly ask thoughtful questions and work well in a team
Professional Skills Preferred:
- Experience with ML frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn PyTorch TensorFlow)
- Exposure to LLMs or prompt engineering
- Previous coursework or projects involving A/B testing or applied ML
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
- Intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications Outlook and etc.

Plano TX Hourly Salary: $22.60 - $26.30.
Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation.
