Position Summary
Hiley Hyundai is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warranty Administrator to join our Service Department. The Warranty Administrator is responsible for preparing submitting and tracking all warranty claims to Hyundai Motor America ensuring compliance with manufacturer policies and maximizing reimbursement for the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately process and submit Hyundai warranty goodwill and policy claims in accordance with factory and dealership guidelines.
Verify repair orders for completeness and accuracy of labor parts and sublet documentation.
Audit closed repair orders to ensure proper coding technician time and authorization.
Maintain knowledge of current Hyundai warranty policies bulletins and procedures.
Communicate with Hyundai District Parts & Service Managers and warranty auditors as required.
Track claim status and reconcile unpaid or rejected claims; follow up to resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain organized warranty files and records in compliance with audit requirements.
Assist the Service and Parts Departments with warranty coverage questions and claim documentation.
Provide warranty performance reports to management on a regular basis.
Qualifications
Prior experience as a Warranty Administrator or Service Clerk in an automotive dealership (Hyundai experience preferred).
Strong working knowledge of Hyundais WebDCS and related warranty systems.
Understanding of dealership operations repair orders and service processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word) and DMS systems (CDK Reynolds Dealertrack etc.).
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree or business/automotive administration coursework preferred.
Minimum of 2 years warranty administration experience (Hyundai or import brand preferred).
