Director of Finance
Lead financial planning budgeting forecasting and performance analysis across our strategy horizons.
As part of the Executive Leadership team you will pro-actively lead from the front driving accountability in your team whilst bringing your commercial mindset to the Cairnmillar Institute.
Oversee financial operations including payroll month-end reporting accounts payable accounts receivable management and strategy (financial) reporting.

About the role
The Cairnmillar Institute is seeking a Director of Finance to lead Cairnmillars finance function to deliver strategic financial management strong governance and actionable insights to deliver financial strategies that strengthen institutional performance and align fiscal accountability with long term performance. You will be solutions focussed identifying gaps in current practices delivering fit-for-purpose procedures and tools to boost our internal capability. As part of the leadership team you will pro-actively lead from the front driving accountability in your team whilst bringing your commercial mindset to the Cairnmillar Institute.
About you (Capabilities & experience)
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as finance accounting or business or equivalent industry experience.
Current membership with an accredited professional accounting body (i.e. Institute of Chartered Accountants (Australia) CPA Australia or Institute of Public Accountants).
Preferable NFP or Higher Education Provider/university sector experience.
If successful you will have a WWCC and Police Check prior to commencing.

Cairnmillar is one of Australias largest trainers of postgraduate psychologists and counsellors. We also provide clinical services across four sites (North Melbourne Hawthorn East Dandenong and the CBD) and via telehealth.
