Employee Benefits Department Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Benefits Department Manager to lead and oversee a dynamic team of professionals. This role involves managing a team of individuals on the production side with the opportunity to contribute as a producer being a valuable plus. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in employee benefits a strong leadership background and a proven ability to manage and grow a team.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $90000 - $100000 annually
- Competitive benefits package 401(k) paid time off professional development opportunities etc.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of professionals in the Employee Benefits Department.
- Oversee the production side of the department ensuring efficiency and high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with carriers such as Anthem Medical Mutual and SummaCare to provide optimal solutions for clients.
- Handle quoting for new and renewal business as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and achieve departmental goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure their needs are met effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Designations: Life & Health (L&H) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in employee benefits with a strong preference for candidates with leadership experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software is preferred.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
