SALARY:

Primary Purpose
The Credentialing Coordinator for the DNAP Program will provide essential administrative support to ensure that all Student Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist (SRNAs) are credentialed adequately for participation at affiliated clinical sites. This full-time role is critical for maintaining compliance with hospital state and accreditation requirements by coordinating and managing licensure certifications immunizations workers compensation and malpractice documentation. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with students faculty and clinical partners.
Essential Job Functions
- Credentialing Management: Coordinate and track credentialing requirements for each DNAP student across all clinical sites. Ensure students hold current state RN licenses BLS ACLS PALS and NRP certifications and maintain up-to-date immunization records. Verify and file documentation for malpractice insurance certificates and workers compensation. Maintain an organized secure credentialing database with renewal alerts and expiration tracking.
- Compliance Oversight: Monitor and ensure compliance with site-specific requirements and state regulations. Communicate regularly with clinical site coordinators to confirm student eligibility and resolve credentialing issues. Prepare credentialing compliance reports for the Program Director and accreditation agencies.
- Administrative Support: Assist students with submitting required forms applications and renewals. Develop and update standard operating procedures for credentialing workflows. Maintain confidential student files in compliance with FERPA and institutional policies. Support scheduling and logistical communication between students faculty and clinical sites as needed.
- Liaison Role: Serve as the primary contact for credentialing inquiries from students faculty and clinical site partners. Collaborate with the Program Director Program Coordinator and clinical site staff to streamline credentialing processes.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple students credentialing requirements simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in healthcare administration business administration or a related field OR equivalent experience may be considered.
- One (1)three (3) years of administrative experience preferably in healthcare credentialing graduate medical education or clinical compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of state nursing licensure processes and credentialing requirements.
