SUMMARY: This position is a full-time position located in Shelton Washington. This position is responsible for providing nursing services to tribal patients and employees. This position will provide a range of duties including but not limited to; triage patient education nursing visits and nursing assessments. This position is integral to the medical staff team made up of 2 physicians 2 physician assistants and support staff. This position will also work with a multi-disciplinary team of medical behavioral health pharmacy and dental.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position provides supervision to Medical Assistant 1

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to a prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management public groups and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a current and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse. Must have a valid Drivers License. Current TB Test CPR/First Aid and HIV/AIDS/STD certification/training required. Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification. Knowledge of and familiarity with ICD 10 and CPT codes required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor of Science in nursing and 4 years of relevant experience must be a Licensed Registered Nurse and have three years experience functioning as a Registered Nurse. Experience working in a community health organization preferred.
