CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; previous customer related experience strongly preferred.

JOB ESSENTIALS

Greet customers take orders mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee espresso cappuccino cafe latte tea chai fruit blend drinks etc. by adhering to recipe and presentation standards while considering customer specifications.

Maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of all beverages and food items.

Arrange coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs to make attractive displays.

Maintain bar/cart area in a neat and sanitary manner.

Clean coffee machines coffee shop areas restrooms and preparation areas.

Record all sales collects money operates a cash register and follows all cash-handling procedures as required.

Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.

Manage guest requests inquiries and complaints promptly and completely. Ensure follow up with guest are performed in a timely manner to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and quality the event of dissatisfaction negotiate compromise in accordance to the Make it Right established guidelines.

Follow health safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

Follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures including those for cash handling and safety and security to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.

Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.

Follow proper Hotel safety policies and procedures and use safety equipment as needed to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift. Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.

Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely efficiently and effectively

Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Other

Ability to read speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests in order to meet guests requests.

Working knowledge of food preparation sanitation standards and inventory control systems.

Ability to prioritize organize and follow up

Starbucks Baristas will be required to be certified.

Working Knowledge of basic food-handling skills.

Strong attention to detail organizational skills and commitment to cleanliness

Knowledge of equipment and how to maintain it.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and guests.

Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy to defuse anger collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.

Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis; Able to work varied shifts including Weekday Evenings weekends and holidays.
