An AmLaw 50 firm is seeking an Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) Associate to join its expanding practice focused on high-growth startups and the investors who back them. Youll work directly with founders CEOs management teams and boards of directors advising clients from pre-seed through pre-IPO stages.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage transactions for both company-side and investor-side clients.
Advise founders and management teams on formation financing and exit strategiesoften in fast-paced high-impact settings.
Counsel clients on a full range of corporate governance and compliance matters across the business lifecycle.
Represent venture capital firms and institutional investors in early- and late-stage financings.
Build lasting relationships with clients across the technology and life sciences sectors.
Qualifications:
48 years of experience in emerging companies venture capital or growth transactions.
Demonstrated interest in technology life sciences and innovation-driven industries.
Excellent drafting communication and relationship management skills.
Licensed (or eligible to become licensed) in the relevant jurisdiction for your preferred office location.
Strong academic credentials and a collaborative approach.
