Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Mobile Service Technician to join our team. This individual will perform maintenance and light repair work at customer locations using a fully equipped mobile service vehicle. The ideal candidate is self-motivated professional and able to deliver top-quality service while representing the Lou Fusz brand in the field.
This is a union position that is governed by the District No. 9 International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers A.F.L. - C.I.O.:
Responsibilities
Perform on-site vehicle maintenance and light repairs such as oil changes tire rotations battery replacements filters and fluid services.
Conduct multi-point inspections and document service recommendations.
Drive and operate the mobile service vehicle safely and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicles condition needed repairs and estimated completion time.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work meets Ford Motor Company and Lou Fusz standards.
Keep the mobile unit stocked organized and clean ensuring all tools and equipment are maintained properly.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and company procedures.
Provide a high level of customer service while promoting the dealerships commitment to convenience and quality.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or ASE certification preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or similar role.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various outdoor conditions.
