Position Overview
Mountain ViewsSchool District is seeking a compassionate dependable and child-centered Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our PreK this full-time role you will provide health-related support and personal care to young learners ensuring they can fully participate in a safe nurturing and educational environment. The ideal candidate combines clinical skill with patience warmth and a dedication to supporting every childs growth and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care to students including toileting diapering dressing hygiene feeding and mobility support according to individual care plans.
Support the health safety and overall well-being of students under the guidance of the school nurse.
Assist in implementing individualized education and health plans for students with medical or developmental needs.
Maintain confidentiality and respect the dignity and privacy of all students.
Observe document and communicate relevant health or behavioral information to the school nurse and teaching staff.
Encourage and support students participation in classroom routines transitions and activities.
Collaborate with teachers related service providers and families to create a safe inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Follow infection control safety and emergency response procedures as trained.
Qualifications
Current Vermont Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification required.
Experience working with young children or individuals with special needs preferred.
Ability to lift transfer or physically assist students as needed.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
Compassion patience and a commitment to supporting the whole child.
Schedule and Compensation
Full-time school-year position (approximately 3537.5 hours per week).
Salary and benefits in accordance with the district support staff contract and based on experience.
