About the role:
Supply Chain Development are a key part of the No7 Supply Chain team. We support the planning systems and processes that underpin our existing customer service and enable our future business growth ambition. And we also deliver projects that drive continuous improvement in our supply chain.
To lead and manage the deployment of the strategic projects for supply chain improvement within No7 Beauty Company. To act as a supply chain subject matter expert to enable No7 Beauty Company to meet the capability requirements of a growing organisation which is responsible for providing innovative differentiated products at great value to Walgreens Boots and International Retail. The focus of the role is the use of E2Open within the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
To act as a subject matter expert (SME) for supply chain E2Open usage. Work with cross functional teams to design and build business transformation and improvement changes. Ensure projects are implemented to meet the specific needs of No7 Beauty Company by combing the specific needs of No7 Beauty Company with industry best practice.
Act as first point of E2Open support for supply chain users manage issue resolution processes and be accountable for continuous improvement initiatives with the area of subject matter expertise.
To design and build functionality and capability within supply chain that enables No7 Beauty Company to deliver its vision and ensure that operational teams who are responsible for delivery of day-to-day delivery of business objectives have the support tools and infrastructure required to be successful.
To lead cross functional project teams delivering the supply chain and sourcing strategy for No7 Beauty Company ensuring a responsive supply chain to meet the needs of a growing and expanding business.
To find innovative solutions to supply chain challenges associated with working with demanding customers across diverse geographies based on industry best practice and unique solutions to specific challenges.
Work closely with IT project managers and IT functional experts to implement IT systems that enable the supply chain processes and functionality. Key responsibilities include defining IT requirements writing test plans and working with IT project managers to lead IT projects.
Work with key functional stakeholders to build the supply chain development roadmap ensuring the needs of the business are accommodated within transformation plans. As the SME for their area of expertise the Supply Chain Development Manager will be responsible for ensuring the specific needs of the business are included within transformation plan they will input best practices and expertise to create the transformation plan.
Write and own project business case and project plan documents working with finance partners to develop the benefits cases and project budget. Manage project delivery to time and budget. Manage deviation from the plan. Delivery of projects on time and budget is essential the Supply Chain Development Manager will also manage deviation from the plan working with partners to recover from setbacks and managing stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.
To research and learn from external best practice through professional networks and relationships to ensure that No7 Beauty Company Supply Chain can deliver an industry leading service to WBA trading businesses and external customers.
What youll need to have
Relevant supply chain development experience in Supply Chain roles within the retail/FMCG industries.
Expertise of working with E2Open including working to implement new functionality.
Digitally fluent; comfortable working at distance using Supply Planning tools.
Some project management experience either working as a project manager or working as functional expert within formal project team delivering change
Collaborating with internal stakeholders across cultural geographical and language barriers.
Value Based Decision Making: Understanding of importance of optimising value and the generation of issues and alternatives to find value maximising solutions.
It would be great if you also have:
Experience of successfully managing high profile complex projects working cross functionally and working to a budget with a track record of delivery.
Expertise of working with SAP in a Supply Chain function.
