Job Description
- Architectural Design: Develop and design scalable reliable and secure Azure-based solutions that align with business requirements and technical constraints
- Solution Implementation: Lead the implementation of Azure solutions including virtual networks storage databases and compute resources ensuring best practices and high performance
- Consultation: Collaborate with stakeholders including business leaders IT teams and developers to gather requirements and provide technical guidance and solutions
- Integration: Design and oversee the integration of Azure services with existing systems and third-party applications
- Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize Azure solutions for performance cost and scalability
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs implementation plans and best practices
- Compliance and Security: Ensure Azure solutions comply with industry regulations and security standards implementing appropriate controls and monitoring
- Innovation: Stay current with Azure developments and emerging technologies recommending innovative solutions and improvements
- Testing: Experience in testing and test automation
Qualifications
- Experience Level: Proven experience in delivering enterprise data platform projects in finance domain
- Education Level: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related relevant field;
- Certifications: Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or similar are highly preferred
- Personal Attributes: Strong analytical skills leadership capabilities effective communication and problem-solving ability
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Azure services (e.g. Azure Databricks Azure Data Factory Azure DevOps Azure Compute Azure Storage Azure SQL Azure DevOps) cloud architecture and best practices
- Experience in Agile and DevSecOps delivery quality practices techniques test automation and tools required for all aspect of data engineering/ data platforms
- Experience in adoption of data governance frameworks using Collibra and Unity Catalog
