Summary: The Youth Mentoring Program Manager will act as a liaison for Catholic Charities refugee youth and the mentors and will assist in coordinating activities between all parties. The Manager will assist in recruiting and training potential mentors being matched with refugee youth between the ages of 15-24 years They will ensure quality assurance of the program and assist staff in pairing mentors that are matched with a youth to achieve acculturation into their new life in San Antonio and support staff working with clients on their path to education and career independence and self- sufficiency including case mgt. services focusing on Education and Career advancement & opportunities. Host trainings for community partners and keep documentation of all services exchanged between mentors and the youth and services provided and clients information. Will also be responsible for the completion and submission of program reporting.
Position Responsibilities:
* Program Development:
Assist in developing implementing and evaluating service programs interventions and policies to meet the evolving needs of clients and communities.
*Planning and Organization: Coordinate and organize various tasks events projects or initiatives within the program or organization.
*Communication: Facilitate communication between team members programs clients and community partners ensuring information flows effectively and efficiently.
*Scheduling: Manage calendars schedules and appointments for team members meetings and events.
*Training and Onboarding: Assist in training new team members providing guidance on procedures policies and best practices.
*Resource Management: Label track and allocate resources such as materials and equipment to support project goals and objectives.
*Reporting: Compile analyze and present data or information to support decision-making performance evaluation and strategic planning utilizing program data bases and spreadsheet reporting tools.
*Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of work client case-note review deliverables and processes to ensure they meet established standards and requirements. Help initiate client case file creation and monitor files to ensure they are maintained throughout clients tenures in the program.
Supervision of program generalist including timesheets approval annual evaluations and supportive supervisions.
Ability to work with youth ages of 15-24 to support education and career case management.
Flexibility of work schedule may be asked to work some weekends and evenings for social engagement activities and trainings. Notice will be given ahead of time.
Collect client and mentor feedback by collecting program/activity surveys as needed.
Promote program activities and services through public presentations social media posts agency newsletter articles and volunteer recruitment. Able to present to small and large groups of people.
Conduct home visits on an as needed basis and able to identify barriers and develop solutions
Collaborate and refer clients with other in house programs including Employment Education and Case Mgt.
Able and willing to transport clients when necessary in agency vehicle.
Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral is mandatory.
Must be sensitive to the service populations cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information services rendered to clients donors names and gifts internal and external investigations or results of any investigations and financial information.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Refugee Employment & Youth Mentoring.
