Job Summary
Were recruiting for a Expense Accountant - Group Protection (12 months maternity cover) to join us. Were offering a competitive base salary.
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic finance environment Were looking for an Expense Analyst to join our Group Protection Finance team where youll play a key role in helping us meet our financial targets through insightful analysis and proactive financial support. What youll be doing:
- Producing monthly and quarterly reports to support senior management decision-making
- Managing reconciliation and analysis of Insurance MER data and expense forecasts
- Supporting the development and tracking of business cases and investment portfolios
- Monitoring monthly spend and processing accruals across cost centres
- Providing accurate and timely information for quarterly forecasts
- Maintaining financial controls and ensuring compliance with audit requirements
- Assisting managers and executives in understanding financial perspectives
- Supporting fair customer outcomes through effective finance processes and systems
Qualifications :
Who were looking for:
- Ideally part-qualified accountant with strong analytical skills
- Good understanding of financial services and UK life insurance regulations
- Experience with financial planning forecasting and expense tracking
- Advanced skills in spreadsheets databases and financial modelling tools
- Ability to communicate clearly and influence across all levels
- Strong judgement and analytical thinking in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with flexibility to adapt to change
- Commitment to ethical standards and customer fairness
